Al\u00e9m do mais, o primeiro molar pode apresentar cerca de 0% a 2,6% de chances de exibir uma raiz supranumer\u00e1ria, enquanto que o segundo molar 1,8% a 2,7% (KANTILIERAKI et al, 2019). Assim, os molares inferiores podem ter uma raiz adicional localizada lingualmente (O Radix Entomolaris) ou vestibular (O Radix Paramolaris)<\/span><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.3800000000000001; text-indent: 35.4pt; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">Nas popula\u00e7\u00f5es africanas, encontra-se uma frequ\u00eancia m\u00e1xima de 3%, enquanto nas popula\u00e7\u00f5es da Eur\u00e1sia e da \u00cdndia a frequ\u00eancia \u00e9 inferior a 5%. Em popula\u00e7\u00f5es com tra\u00e7os mongol\u00f3ides (como os \u00edndios chineses, esquim\u00f3s e americanos), relatos observaram que o ER ocorre com uma frequ\u00eancia que varia de 5% a mais de 30%. Devido \u00e0 sua alta frequ\u00eancia nessas popula\u00e7\u00f5es, o RE \u00e9 considerado uma variante morfol\u00f3gica normal (morfologia radicular eumorfa). Em caucasianos, o ER \u00e9 pouco comum e, com frequ\u00eancia m\u00e1xima de 3,4 a 4,2%, \u00e9 considerada uma morfologia radicular incomum ou dism\u00f3rfica.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.3800000000000001; text-indent: 35.4pt; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">A etiologia da raiz adicional n\u00e3o apresenta clareza e pode ser encontrada nos molares inferiores, sendo com menor frequ\u00eancia no segundo molar.<\/span><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.3800000000000001; text-indent: 35.4pt; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">Um achado radiogr\u00e1fico desta natureza foi visualizado na radiografia periapical (imagem 1).
