Entretanto, a radiografia panor\u00e2mica n\u00e3o substitui as t\u00e9cnicas radiogr\u00e1ficas convencionais, uma vez que se apresenta com menor grau de detalhamento da imagem radiogr\u00e1fica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.2; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.2; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">A radiografia panor\u00e2mica permite examinar a parte m\u00e9dia-inferior da face, em norma frontal e o uso rotineiro desta t\u00e9cnica radiogr\u00e1fica, por apresentar imagem extensa, revela um grande n\u00famero de elementos, os quais muitas vezes n\u00e3o s\u00e3o detectados em radiografias periapicais.
